Sitting in my 3rd floor office at the County of Sacramento's Administrative Center

I was sitting in my 3rd floor office at the County of Sacramento's Administrative Center when I looked out the window and noticed this zeppelin floating past. I see a lot of planes from Sacramento International but this is the first zeppelin I've seen from my window here. I called all the staff over to get a look - lots of 'oohs' and 'ahhs'. I figured I should get a photo so I pulled out my camera and took the attached picture.

Happy to See Eureka Over Castro Valley

When we moved from our apartment in Oakland 6 months ago, one of the things we had to give up was seeing Eureka fly over our home on a regular basis. Well, today while hiking in the hills above our new home in Castro Valley we caught site of our old friend as she headed back to Moffett Field. Owen was delighted to see her again and got a closer look with the binoculars he received for his recent birthday. Now that he is 3, he is now old enough to ride on the airship that he helped dedicate back in 2008.

Seen over Citrus Heights

On Tuesday afternoon Larry was with a customer when my son called and said there was a "blimp" overhead. We ran outside and caught a few shots. We had heard on the radio that the airship was travelling to McClellan airbase, but had not expected to see it in Citrus Heights, which was farther east than it sounded like it was planning to go from the news releases we heard.

It was quite a sight, and reminded me that there used to be a fair amount of them around several decades ago... It was a great experience to see this one, and not one my son will soon forget, as it was so close, too!

McClellan Park

I work at McClellan Park, and the Zeppelin flew right over my building! I've been tracking it all day to be able to go outside in time to see it :)

-- Jessica Shevlin

That was the most fun I have had today!

Just went overhead! came from 99 and crossed right over our building (3rd and S) and the river then went upriver towards McClellan.

Unfortunately, I ran down and saw it as it would not have passed my window. a co-worker came down just then so I borrowed his cell and called up but my other coworker didn't answer. so I ran up to get people and ran down ( I mean ran the whole way) and by the time we were on the street it had turned and was heading north. I saw it coming and I saw it going. would have been cool to have been right under it when it turned but… anyway. that was the most fun I have had today!

One world, One Zeppelin

Yes, I saw it. In Japan, though. I didn't know at that time that US counterpart is also engaging in the enterprise.

Looking up at the Zeppelin NT, I feel that we are living under the same sky. Hooray for the Zeppelin NT!

Keenan, Airship Fan and Zeppelin Boy!

Our 3 year old son, Keenan, is a huge airship fanatic. So when we heard the Eureka was going to be down at Long Beach, there was only one thing to do - go on a Zeppelin hunt!

Here's the successful, stalwart hunter with the mighty airship sleeping in the distance.

Thank you Airship Ventures!

Hollywood Beach, outside Oxnard, CA

We live on beautiful Hollywood Beach, outside Oxnard, CA. This morning we looked out over the ocean and saw this graceful majestic blimp slowly hugging the coast line. My husband and I flew to our sun porch to get a better look. My husband reached for his binocculars and read the name on the blimp. The weather was perfect: calm air, clear skies. The view from the blimp must have been spectacular! I promised my husband that I would google airshipventure.com to find out all about this. What a great idea!

Love Heart Spotted from Signal Hill

On a Sunday outing for my aging mother I took her over to Long Beach where she used to teach school. Seeing the airship cross our path as we approached the Long Beach circle, I chose to go to the top of Signal Hill just beyond it to see if I could get a few pictures.

Air to Air from a San Diego Blogger

Farmers Airship Contest Winner!!

I am a local amateur photo blogger, and I am currently working on a project I call the "Aerial San Diego Project." The pilot that I fly with told me about the Zeppelin NT coming to San Diego, so right away we knew we had to get up there and see if we could find it! The location at Torrey Pines made for a great backdrop, and we were able to record lots of great shots as we circled overhead.

Thanks for visiting us in San Diego!

-- Steve Cherry

She hovered for a few minutes admiring the Hotel del Coronado

Just went out to the beach tonight to get some pictures of the sunset.Imagine my suprise when the zeppelin came into view.  She flew down the beach and then hovered for a few minutes admiring the Hotel del Coronado.

Welcome Farmers NT to San Diego!

About 9pm on Jan 29 evening, 2010 I was watching TV in my living room. And AS I looked down on my glass coffee table I saw what looked like a reflection of an airplane coming straight toward my house. Well thats what I thought. I said Oh my God because there was no noise. I thought it was a plane crashing with engines failed as I am in Mission Bay, San Diego where the planes turn to  route around Lindberg field. I ran outside and found that it was a Zepplelin heading South toward downtown. It was very close and looked alot like a Zepplelin NT I flew in Germany May 2008. So I watched it and again heard no noise and only saw the running lights. I was filled with happiness, one it was not a plane crashing, two it was probably the NT from San Francisco visiting San Diego. Three I was imagining how beautiful a flight over San Diego at night or daytime would be.

Welcome Farmers NT to San Diego!

KCOY Said to Do It!

Farmers Airship Contest Winner!!

Our local news station KCOY said to get a picture of the Zeppelin over the Central coast for a chance to win a ride. We we watched the skies all day finally saw it over Pismo Beach around 4-5pm today. All we had was our phone camera but here it is.

Flying over Pismo Beach

Farmers Airship Contest Winner!

These photos were taken over rural Arroyo Grande, Ca.

Took photos as blimp was heading south. My wife and I tracked the blimp from up North down the coast to Pismo Beach area. Glad we got a look at it as we are both retired and seniors. It is great to see it from a distance... So thanks for the thrill of seeing it fly over...

Seen from Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook

Below is a photo I took of an airship (I think it's one of yours) returning south at sunset after doing a circuit of Los Angeles. This photo was taken from the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, a fine spot for airship watching.

The airship flys over me almost everyday when I am at work.  I will start taking pictures of the airship to share.  The airship was flying over San Pedro by the coast.  This would be a great present for my 6 year old son for his birthday.

Over the Belmont Heights section of Long Beach

Just saw it 15 minutes ago over the Belmont Heights section of Long Beach. I live in the 200 block of Mira Mar Avenue. About 2 months ago your airship passed directly over our block of Mira Mar Avenue but I didn't have my camera at hand. I estimate that your were over Loma or Euclid when I took this shot.

She started hopping up and down!

I saw your airship approaching out of the sunset toward the Annenberg Community Beach House on January 6, 2010. I was walking along the beach walk and there was a family with three small children playing in the playground area. The father pointed out the airship and the two older boys saw it right away and shouted BLIMP! The third child, a little girl about two years old, took a little longer to spot you. But if I would have had my camera with me, that would have been the best shot of the day. Her face totally lit up and she started hopping up and down. She didn't take her eyes off of the airship until it was completely out of sight.

It was a nice moment and you couldn't have picked a more beautiful, picturesque day to fly over. I have learned my lesson. I will never leave my camera in the office again and now I know what to ask for on my upcoming birthday. I have always wanted to fly in a zeppelin and didn't know that it was even a possibility. I am excited to find out that it was.

Heath Hamilton

(we look forward to flying you! Ed.)

I love to see my friendly neighborhood blimp passing by

My boyfriend and I live at the top of a big hill in San Carlos. We have a wonderful view of the entire south bay area from our porch. The week we moved in was the first time I saw the blimp, and now I see it almost every day. It makes me giggle to watch it just float around the area, I always get a smile on my face when I go to my porch and see it passing by. =)
We saw it flying low above us as we were driving down El Camino Real last weekend, and that was the first time I noticed the AirshipVentures.com lettering on the side. The sighting and tracking portion of the site is so cute! Great feature.
Keep flying high, I love to see my friendly neighborhood blimp passing by =D (I always secretly hope it will do a fly by in the valley below our porch haha =D .
