I am a Farmers Agent so several of my customers called me and told me that the Farmers Blimp (I told them is was a Zeppelin) was flying over Winnie. I grew up in Houston Texas and saw the Goodyear blimp growing up. I never thought I would see an airship flying over Winnie and Hamshire Texas. It was very exciting to have a Zeppelin flying over my office and home. It was much more special that is was our very own Farmers air ship! I was pretty popular in town after that day. It was an overcast day on April 20th 2011 but you could see the airship very well. I took these pics from my back yard.

My co-workers and I watched as the airship flew over Blairsville PA heading west towards Pittsburgh above the I22NS coal tipple right along Rt22 on Saturday morning. Very interesting to see.

Crossing the Delaware River

I was standing outside this morning when I saw the airship coming from Pennsylvania across the Delaware River toward Trenton, NJ. I watched as it passed over the Department of Labor building. It was quite impressive. I have never seen this airship before and I noticed that the underside had a message on it stating that it was available to ride. So, I went to the website and learned that rides are available. I have always wanted to ride in an airship and now I am definitely going to book a flight.

Academy road ran along the fence and provided a good view of the Eureka while moored. What struck me about the NT as opposed to other blimps I've seen was how "solid" it seemed while on the ground; not "flimsy" at all. A platform was hoisted below an engine and a tech climbed a rope ladder to service it. Its quite an impressive vehicle. Of course I did have to put up with the passing jogger who yelled, "Remember the Hindenburg!"

I just took my puppy outside at 2am, looked up, and saw the Farmers Airship right above my house! As I was half-asleep, I must say I thought I had lost my grip on reality for a few minutes. New Orleans Lakefront

While running an errand on Wednesday evening, I gazed at the lake as I crossed over a bridge towards the New Orleans Lakefront airport( a small airport for private planes ) I noticed a large object that looked like it could have been an airship. I decided to take a closer look. I slowly drove over to the secluded area and just as I passed a large building, to my surprise I spotted the "Farmers" airship sitting there, majestically waiting to be photographed.

I work for Farmers as an APD Zone Training Manager. I took my wife to New Orleans over the weekend for Jazz Fest. During the Bon Jovi performance my wife pointed up into the sky and there was the Farmers Airship. It was very unexpected, very cool to see.

It's not everyday you see such a sighting here in Lake charles, la. The airship spent the night here, and then resumed it's flight the next day to New Orleans. It was a windy and cloudy overcast day. The Zeppelin zig zag her way to the air field, at one point hovering in mid air right over on lookers before landing.

Last views locally

Before Eureka departed on her six month tour, we had a number of sightings of her locally. She returned to the skies at the start of April, doing some passenger flights after being in the hangar for annual maintenance for a month.

Walking the dog in Alamo Square

Every day I walk my dog in Alamo Square in San Francisco. We leave between 3:45 and 4:00PM every afternoon. As we are walking down towards the famous "Seven Sisters", I can see the Farmers Airship flying over the Oakland area or directly over the bay. Today, as I was taking off my shoes, I looked out my window and saw it flying just above the tree line in Alamo Square itself.

Sunken Gardens Golf Course

I think you were testing the airship a few days back over Sunken Gardens Golf Course. I noticed the airship and waved to you guys a couple of times from the #2 tee box :) Then you followed us down the fairway. It felt very strange to have the airship right above our heads! But it was fun!!!!

Piedras Blancas Light Station

My husband and I live in a very remote area just north of the Piedras Blancas Light Station. We're lucky to be the only house right on the ocean. We've seen you fly over 4 or 5 times, but we haven't been able to get a photo. You always sneak up on us! ;) Today (1/20/11) you went over at about 1:15 pm...we were outside watching the missle launch from Vandenburg. We love watching you float over our house! Over our Koi Pond

The Farmers airship often flys over our house, I'd say about 4 or 6 times a year. I think we must be on the flight path to Moffet Field. Today it was over the northeast side of our yard near our koi pond. It was so low I waved just for fun, and I swear it slowed down a little. Maybe they saw me, lol! Next time I'll try to get a picture. Anyway, after a minute they sped up and were quickly off towards the northwest direction. Happy Flying!!

New Years Day Sighting

New Year's Day at 8:15 a.m., my husband scanned the skies from our living room window, much more interested in seeing the zeppelin and the blimp than watching what they were televising on the screen.

No ordinary blimp!

Saw the airship flying over downtown Los Angeles on December 29th, 2010 at about 4:30 in the afternoon.

Realized immediately that this was no ordinary "blimp!"

Not a blimp at all, as it turns out!

This was something really "different!"

Spotted the tail propeller, but missed the side-mounted engines completely!

It appeared really, really long!

The gondola seemed to be quite far forward compared to ordinary "blimps!"

The ship disappeared behind a building and did not re-appear on the other side of the building. It must have turned to the north, and stayed hidden behind that building as it flew away.

During the Morning Commute in LA

I had my second sighting of the Zeppelin NT in late October during my morning commute to LA. I was driving on the westbound 91 freeway near the 605 when I saw the elegant Zeppelin NT flying north, perpendicular to my car's path. My travels took me northbound behind the airship, which breezed past the heavy traffic. I snapped a photo with my phone

While Visiting Sunnyvale, California

We spotted the blimp on Tuesday, Nov. 30, while we were staying at the Wild Palms hotel in Sunnyvale, Calif for an uncle's funeral. I took a cell phone photo. When I got back home to St. Paul, Minn., I researched the blimp and discovered it's home is Sunnyvale and found this blog. Fun to see!
